The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Banda was established by ICAR, New Delhi in the year 2007 under the administrative control of CSAUAT, Kanpur later it was transferred to BUAT, Banda in April, 2017. Since its inception, it has given service to the rural people, farm youth, farm women and other beneficiaries. During this period it has conducted a number of short terms and long term on and off-campus training programmes in the major disciplines of Crop Production, Horticulture, Plant Protection, Animal Science, Home Science and Agriculture Extension. The KVK has done commendable work in technology assessment, demonstration, and transferring the proven agricultural technologies to the farming community. These technologies have social relevance and helped in the economic upliftment of rural people of the Bundelkhand region. KVK is serving as a lighthouse of the farming community in the Banda district.
